Terms & Right of Withdrawal
English translation for convenience — the German version is legally binding.
1. Scope and seller
These terms apply to orders of art prints via astridobert.art. The seller is Astrid M. Obert, Eisolzrieder Straße 12, 80999 Munich, Germany (see Legal Notice).
2. Conclusion of the contract
The presentation of products is not a binding offer. By completing the payment process (Stripe Checkout) you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded with our order confirmation by email.
3. Prices and shipping
All prices are in euros and are final prices including statutory VAT. Any shipping costs are shown before the order is completed.
4. Production and delivery
Prints are made to order (print on demand) and are usually shipped within a few working days of receipt of payment. Limited editions are restricted to the stated edition size.
5. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal. The period begins on the day on which you, or a third party named by you, take possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, inform us (Astrid M. Obert, Eisolzrieder Straße 12, 80999 Munich, contact@astridobert.com) of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email).
Consequences of withdrawal: We will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if it results from handling that was not necessary to examine them.
6. Warranty
Statutory warranty law applies.
7. Copyright
Purchasing a print transfers no rights of use or exploitation in the work; all copyrights remain with Astrid M. Obert.
8. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence do not prevail.
