25+ Years: Editorial & Fashion

Astrid M. Obert is a Munich-based photographer with more than 25 years of editorial, fashion, beauty and advertising experience across Europe and South Africa. Her work spans magazine editorials, campaign productions for brands, corporate photography and interior/living imagery — a range built on one constant: directing people until the picture looks like them at their best. This editorial eye is also why her business portraits do not look like standard business portraits, and why selected works are collected as limited fine-art prints.

Where does the work come from?

Munich — Europe — South Africa. Editorial productions and campaigns shaped the craft: working fast on set, directing professionals and non-professionals alike, building images with intention rather than routine.
